Erica Medina '19

Erica is currently a doctoral student at the Michigan School of Psychology. Her interests lie in working with underserved and minoritized adolescent and young adult populations from a systemic and multicultural perspective implementing cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic interventions. She is also interested in the development of evidence-based interventions to address communication in Latino adolescents and young adults communicating about depression with their parents and extended support systems. She currently works with adolescents and young adults addressing a variety of issues including sexual and gender identity, adjustment and transitions, peer and family conflict, depression, anxiety, and psychosocial stressors.
